The Disappearance of Alice Creed

“The Disappearance of Alice Creed” is a very good movie. It will keep you alert and guessing, with some nice twists. What I admired about this film is the minimal use of actors and locations, and how it felt as if nothing were missing. The actors did a superb job; at times we feel as trapped as Alice Creed, as in charge as Vic, or as nervous and insecure as Danny. It’s a nice version of the hostage/suspense/thriller genre. But for some reason, it is not very memorable.

This is the kind of movie that is a great watch, but will ultimately be forgotten in the long run; however, I’d still put it on the “to-see” list.
